  • I used to talk to a girl from New Liskeard, Ontario online. I asked her to send me a hockey puck with the Canadian Tire logo on it, and some Canadian Tire dollars (I'm from the USA so Canadian Tire doesn't exist here). On the package she sent, her handwriting made "New Liskeard" look like "New Uskears," so that's what I've called that town ever since.
