The homeopathic HCG diet is a very low calorie diet. That, in itself, means that it’s going to be tough. In combination with that dieters are required to ingest oral drops three times a day with no food or drink for 15 minutes before or after they take the drops. And on top of that…the list of foods you are actually allowed to use to create your total of 500 calories per day is very limited. AND you have to have a certain amount of each type of food each day.
That’s a very strict diet. It could possibly be the strictest diet on the market. But if it’s so hard and so strict…why do people keep accessing it? And why do people keep successfully losing weight while on the program?
The majority of case studies are successful. People who follow the homeopathic HCG dieting protocol lose weight; a lot of weight. And they typically start seeing weight loss almost immediately (within the first week). The consistent weight loss alone is typically enough of an inspiration to keep dieters on the plan.
That’s not to say that there aren’t tough moments. Many dieters have noted that they have a harder time in certain locations:
1. At home. Sometimes dieters find that they have the hardest time in their own environments. This isn’t that surprising considering that most of us do a majority of our eating in our own homes. And most of us have developed a large number of our bad eating habits in our own home. Our own homes (and our own pantries) typically carry the most tempting food items when we are attempting to diet. Fix it by getting rid of items that you can’t have. Your family can eat healthy for a month or two.
2. At the work place. Other dieters know that their toughest moments are going to occur at work. We don’t know our work associates as well as we know our families. They might not know why we’ve changed our eating habits and they might encourage us to break the rules.
3. At parties: This can be a tough one because party foods are notoriously high in both fat and calories. There are two options. One, you can eat before you go and stick to water at the party. Or two you can not eat before you go and stick to raw veggies and a small amount of steak or other appropriate meat at the party (but this one is chancy unless you are sure of the exact menu).
Regardless of where the hard times occur; the easiest way to make it through is to remember that the weight loss or gain of the next morning’s weigh in will depend upon the decisions being made in the moment. It’s a very successful distraction on homeopathic HCG because dieters typically see weight loss everyday if they are sticking to the rules. And when they don’t stick to the rules…they might not get the weight loss they want.
