You have to cut calories if you want toned arms, there is no way around this. Unfortunately, too many women go overboard here.
Do you know of any women going on extremely low calorie diets? Unfortunately, this has become the norm and places a huge toll on the female body.
So what’s the optimal caloric reduction? Well, you should never cut more than 20%. If you are more aggressive here, the risk of arm fat rebound increases. You’ll also drastically reduce your body’s natural production of arm-fat burning hormones.
And keep in mind that cutting calories does NOT have to give you a drop in energy. In fact, if you do it the right way, you can have an INCREASE in energy. So here are 4 things you shouldn’t be doing when cutting calories to get toned arms:
1. Using supplements as meal replacements. Nothing beats regular food for satiety and health. If you stick to powders and pills to fill up your gut, you’ll be very hungry all the time. Not good if you want toned arms.
2. Eating like a snake. Snakes eat with a very low frequency and you should NOT be doing this. Whenever reducing calories, eating frequently becomes extremely important.
3. Not lifting weights. It takes a lot of calories to keep muscle. So the first thing your body will do when you restrict calories is burn muscle. You stop this by lifting weights.
4. Eating unbalanced meals. Don’t simply cut out carbs or fats to reduce your caloric intake. Balanced meals are crucial for accelerated arm fat burning. And vegetables are really important for slowing down digestion which in turn speeds up fat loss.
Getting toned and sexy arms does require a bit of calorie cutting, but it doesn’t have to be stressful. In fact, it can be quite simple. The key is to not go overboard and to maintain balance. Also make sure to follow my tips!
